This is 1 of a 3 part mini series about the faun race from my Paranormal
Fairy tale World "Terratoff".

Every few hundred years or so, a female faun is born with a single twisted horn close to the center of her forehead. These fortunate creatures are often
worshiped as goddesses, because it is believed by many that their single
deformed antler grants them the powers of the unicorn. These powers include immunity to "the Rott" (a horrific plague that terrorizes their world)

However this myth was proven false when the second of the goddesses was captured by the Rotten army and exposed to the plague by force. She became infected and was paraded around the land in a gilded cage for all to see the truth, that the "magical horn" was nothing more than a convenient physical deformity. Her followers wept for generations, many still denying the tragedy and continuing to wait for another goddess to follow.
